Shallow coiled bowl; probably Pima (Akimel O'odham); coil is counterclockwise; warp cattail bundle, weft willow and martynia (devil's claw). Design: Large dark brown center point with 9 whirling, dark brown zigzag lines radiating away towards the rim in martynia. Rim finished with herringbone stitch in marynia. There are two little holes on rim which used to hold a wire.x
