Water Jar
Northern Paiute water jar. Tourist basket. (it has not been coated with pine pitch which aboriginal baskets were.) There are remnant handles on side. The handles were of twine, the baskets is done entirely in diagonal twining except for the base. The base has a green cotton string start both the warp and the weft are willow. It has three-band designs and they are done in spring peeled willow (slightly reddish) .
