Pomo coiled basket, three-rod willow foundation. Coiling direction is clockwise when viewed from above. Elongated zigzag pattern done in dyed bulrush. The rim finish coiling has light and dark alternating patterns which are 1/4" diameter. The rim has also been decorated with 3 groups of clam shell disc beads. There are remnant top knot feathers at these locations. The shape has flaring sides which rise from a flat base.
