Coiled Basket-Pomo. It has straight sides which rise vertically from the base. Coiling direction is clockwise when viewed from above. Foundation is 3-rod with upper rod being split by each coil successively. The weft is sedge grass root and the designs are in dyed bulrush root. The designs are in a rectangular shape which crisscross the side of the basket. There is also a single ring of dyed bulrush root on the base of the basket. The rim has been decorated in alternating light and dark bands which are approximately 1" apart.
