Stone sculptures
Two stone sculpted items. Do not appear to be ceramic upon inspection.
Item A appears to be a worn face with the head above the bridge of the nose missing. Nose and mouth, which is slightly open, are still present. The nose appears worn down. There are small bits of mica (gold tones) present, and especially visible in the center of the bottom lip. Ears also appear to be missing. Base of head has a slight indent behind the jaw, too big to be modeled accurately after the foramen magnum but in similar position.
Item B is more abstract and reminiscent of a contemporary miniature candle holder. Where item A is more red/pink-toned, item B is more neutral and beige. Feels similar to sandstone. Though worn, the base has four corners that taper into the rounded top and opening. On two opposite faces are small holes that look like they could be used to hang the item on a rope/string. On either side of these holes are a vertical row of indented circles on a raised line. On the perpendicular faces to the holes there are more of these raised ridges running vertically, though no indented holes.
