Ceramic or stone head fragment

Mesoamerican head fragment formed from brown clay or stone. This face has a very flat forehead decorated with a headdress. Has large eyes with protruding eyelids, mouth is open showing teeth, pronounced chin. Nose is flattened and pushed to right side. Scooped-out area under chin possibly for attaching to a body. Back is flattened with "R 9690" and "3.00" painted in black ink.
