Carved wood staff. Dark wood with hand-hammered metal collar to attach handle, which is shaped like a serpent. Main part of staff has three carved human-like figures on it. Top figure has a large (3/4") chip out of it, and some white residue possibly paint. Sierra Leone, collected in 1982?
