Known as the Great Protector, he teaches the lesson that God is everywhere, willing and able to come to the needs of his people. This mask was hand-carved by the artist Made Mulyani. Mulyani is a contemporary artist who was born in 1975 in a rural area in Bali. She was able to learn wood-carving by watching and being taught by her parents and brother.
