From Appraisal paperwork: " In the examples above (including 115.027), a foundation of hazel shoots is twined with a dull brown appearing conifer root. Where color is present on the exterior, yellow bear grass leaves, or the black maidenhair fern stems, are twined as an overlay."... "The basketry bowl has serrated parallelograms and triangular shapes. In both pieces (referring to this and 115.027), black designs are set against a yellow field of bear grass.
