The direction of the weave is clockwise. 4/2/25: (From Receipt Agreement document):"The basket has several breaks in the rim. It has been bleached especially around the rim, perhaps indicating that it was in the sun for lenghtly periods of time. The bottom interior has several old stains."-JG
