Pestle
This is obviously a pestle bacause of its well worn, uniform convex ends, typical from the motion in which it was used. There are two linear scrapes about 2 inches long, one on the top of the other, on one side of the pestle; they are about 1/16 of an inch deep. Opposite the side with these grooves is a chipped area on the stone end, the underlayer of the stone is visable. This area is about 1 inch squared.
