Pestle

Pestle

At one point, the end of use of this pestle was very close to being round because the remaining end has evidence of the typical uniform convex wear. There appears to have been a major chip taken out of the tool; missing its part of the end and side of the stone. The weird thing about this pestle is the type of stone- it looks almost like slate, and is aqua / grey in color. It is shaped like many of the others: thin at top and wide at the base.
