Burden Basket. Twined. Warp - willow; weft - willow. Leather on bottom. Leather fringe. It is decorated with four 1-1/4" wide buckskin bands. Both the bottom fringe and these bands have geometric design decorations in green ink. Seven black bars 1/2" to 2" long decorate the top rim. There are three bands of dyed weft material around mid section that create orange and black diagonal stripes. The top band is 3/4" wide. The 2 lower bands are 1" wide. Basket has carrying handle made from 2 leather loops and twine. A 7" buckskin pad covers the bottom outside of the basket.
