Basket-coiled, single rod, open weave. Willow warp and weft. Globular in shape with lid. Lid has single handle. basket originally had two handles-one on each side- one handle is broken off and is inside the basket. Handles are wrapped in leather. Unpeeled redbud warp creates the design of three narrow stripes (2 coils wide) around the middle of the basket.
