Feather Basket
Part of the Elsie Allen Basket Collection.
The outside surface of this basket is covered with the crest feathers of an acorn woodpecker. A simple check design can be seen through the feathers. The weave is a three-rod coil with a sedge root weft over willow warp sticks.
