Klamath River: twined hat basket of Hupa or Yurok tribe. Materials are willow shoot warp wrapped in a conifer weft with multi colored overlay design. The white overlay is bear grass while the black is maidenhair fern stems. The design is in three registers with parallelograms and a star on top. Red is alder dyed woodwaria fern stems. *see remarks
