Part of the Elsie Allen Pomo Basket Collection This fine model of a baby's cradle basket is made of bright yellow willow that has been peeled. White cotton string has been lashed around the willow in horizontal bands. Swaddling strings and a tumpline are also represented. This kind of basket was a favorite gift form of Elsie Allen.
