Part of the Elsie Allen Pomo Basket Collection In this fine example of Pomo miniaturizing, the single foundation rod is coiled, to the left, with a weft of sedge grass root and designs in dyed bulrush. A fine globose form is achieved that is accented by the triangular shapes on the walls. Good symmetry was achieved by the weaver in spite of the small size of the piece.
