Part of the Elsie Allen Pomo Basket Collection This lovely small basket has fine symmetry in form and design. Single rod coiling is clockwise when viewed from above. Sedge grass root forms the weft with designs in dyed bulrush root. The foundation is willow. Triangular arrowhead shapes form the design with alternating light and dark colors on the rim. A nice basket from a known weaver.
