Effigy Basket - oval tray basket w/ lid in the form of a turtle. Slit in lid indicates may have been made to serve as "bank for coins; warp - split cattail bundles; weft - sun-bleached yucca; design weft - devil's claw. Geometric designs on lid. Head of turtle made of devil's claw.
