The term hanbok literally means “Korean clothing”, however today hanbok often refers specifically to hanbok of Choson dynasty and is worn as semi-formal or formal wear during traditional festivals or celebrations. Men’s hanbok consists of the jeogori (the basic upper garment), and baji (which means pants in Korean). The baji were baggy pants in traditional men’s hanbok.
