Rug

Rug

Germantown weaving with fringe attached. Four ply yarns in bright red and indigo blue. Central "Spirit Wheel" or "Whirling Logs" pattern. Note, Native Americans used this symbol before World War II, when it was used by Germans as a swastika. The pattern was discontinued for tourist items after that point.
