Mortar
This mortar is conical in shape. It tapers from 2.5 at its base to 9 in. at top side. The opposite sides of the mortar are fairly flat and the stone rests comfortably on its side. There are chips around the lip and the area where the chips are is darker grey- different layer of rock. Lot of starch in bowl.
