Navajo girl - sitting with hands on lap, she wears long sleeved velvet blouse and stripped skirt and turquoise earings, a neclace with 5 large pieces of abalone, a shorter neclace of thick abalone with Navajo prayer stone attatched, a heishe necklace with large stones of turquoise and a jocla, a coral beaded rope neclace with a naja, four bracelets, and a ring on each ring finger. She also wears a cameo on her collar. Beneath the photo it says, "Silver Smiths daughter, Navajo c 1900 Feb."
