Mexican blanket, loom, warp with cotton, weft with wool, field color is red, design colors are ivory, black, pink, grey, gold and light green, center design is a large concentric/aggregate diamond, above and below diamond is a series of colorful horizontal bands, analin dyed. It appears as though there was fringe on both ends of blanket, on one end fringe is completely worn away, on the other end the fringe is still tied in knots. This textile has many mothholes and has many breaks in warp and weft on ends.
