Bowl
Coiled - three rod. Warp - willow, weft - willow. Design element - devil's claw (Martijnia louisiana) Design pattern -- clockwise radiating geometric design. There are five elements of checkered tracks evenly spaced on the wall of the basket. The center of the base of the basket has a black circle 2 1/4 inches in diameter and the design begins from this circle. The walls are out-flared and the rim finish is broken. It appears that the rim had alternating colors of willow (natural) and devil's claw (black), but almost all the willow is broken off. This leaves the warp visible and large gaps of warp are also missing.
