Drum Stick
Beaded "Stick Game" (gambling) drum stick. Handle grip is natural - medium, tanned deer skin - the soft side out - padded with 10" fringe of twisted leather cordage (10 strands). Stick head is padded and weighted Buffalo hide with the fur left on. Stick shaft is beaded in peyote stitch with seed beads in black, orange, red , pink, lavender and pearl white. Three registers (2 1/2" wide each) of the feather pattern.
