Burden Basket. Open diagonal twined. Warp - willow; weft - willow. Design element - redbud. Design pattern - two horizontal zigzag bands around basket. One is on the shoulder of the basket, the other is one inch higher. One band seen in the negative of the zigzag design is peeled redbud. The design is full twist overlay. The same design is on interior. The rim finish is coiled grass bundle held on by whip stitch. There is a one rod coil on top of it which is whip stitched to the grass bundle rim.
