Bowl
Basketry bowl. Three-rod coiled. Warp and weft - split cedar root. Design element - imbrication of cherry bark and bear grass. Design pattern - running the circumference of the basket from rim to 1 3/4 inch from base is a meandering "mouth" design; 1 1/2 inches above base, run alternating bands of imbrication of cherry bark and bear grass. Some stitches are missing form each band. Two stitches down is an imbrication of three row stitches of cherry bark 1 1/2 inches long.
