Technique: Carved, engraved, polished. Materials: Steatite (soapstone); hardness <7; Colors: grey, brown, black, cream. The colors are part of the natural color variations of the stone. Design Elements: Two large birds facing in opposite directions. They come out of a single rock base. Very little body and facial detail.
