Technique: Carved, engraved, polished. Materials: Steatite (soapstone); hardness <7; green with natural variation in color from yellow to dark grey. Design Elements: Image of a bird with a human head in the back of the bird's body. The bird is perched on a square base. Very little engraving done on it and few details on bird's body.
