Necklace
Shell- Shell bead necklace (128 beads), heavily worked and polished pale-pink to deep red and some purple shell probably representing at least three species of shell ( and possibly some stone). Shapes vary from triangular, disc, tooth-shaped, square, tubular, etc. Possibly contemporary given the condition. Original association unknown. Beads strung on cotton thread with metal clasp at time of acquisition and were left that way at accessioning.
