a: String of 68 jadeite beads- beads are light to dark green in color; surfaces range from very crude and rough to well polished; shapes are mostly irregular round discs with some cylindrical and tear shaped beads; sizes vary greatly. Beads are all drilled conically from both ends , indicating use of traditional methods and technology. b: single jadeite bead which is an excellent example of drilling techniques.
