Coiled one rod-round. Warp is willow; weft is sedge grass root - designs - redbud. Basket design shows four conifer trees roots at base, trees go up the side to the rim. The four design elements are semi-evenly spaced around basket. This basket is only fairly woven, although the weft strands are tight - they vary in size. This warp rod was not properly prepared and also varies in size, causing an irregular shape. Basket interior is poorly finished.
