Rectangular center on lid and bottom is plaited split cattail stems. Geometric designs: diamonds and squares. Basket is hinged in 3 places with dyed yucca. Two clasps of dyed yucca on front. Loops fit over yucca knots. One loop is missing. An occasional split stitch is evident.
