Santa Clara Blackware, signed "Margaret" by Margaret Tafoya. This traditional shaped jar has a deep encised pattern 2?" wide around the midsection. The pattern is of clouds and rain symbols. The burnished finish is scarped in several areas especially around the midsection and on the top of the rim. A rim of greem felt has been glued to the base for a more secure seating.
