Zuni Effigy Bowl
Zuni polychrome ceremonial type effigy bowl. Bowl is divided into 3 sections. Each with a 4 stepped outlined rim painted red on edge and black below. There is a frog effigy and a black painted tadpole shape below the frog. Inside of the bowl there is a painted deer with a red body with black outlining the antlers. It also has 3 black circles on the body of the deer. Piece has been repaired with a yellowish/white adhesive. One step corner has been filed off. Kiln dried?
