Pot
Casa Grande Turtle effigy pot. Pot is made from a gray colored clay and a cream colored slip with black slip painted designs. In constructing the pot the feet, tail, and head are added pieces of clay rather than pushed out from the inside. Pot has a black fire mark on the base. Black designs are done in an arch pattern with a single solid black line at rim and one at base of pot. Turtle features are left only in the cream color.
