Jar
Navajo Water Jar/Drum. This jar is made with a red colored clay and has fire marks from the firing process. It has been shellacked --with pine pitch--both inside and outside. It appears to be slightly burnished. There is a scalloped edge rim lide the small letter cursive m but does not encircle the entire pot, there is 1/4" gap in the edging.
