Retablo (Tin Painting)

Retablo (Tin Painting)

Mexican Tin Painting - Retablo - Picture of Saint with halo dressed in Priest's clothing with baby Jesus standing on table. Baby is holding 3 arrows in right hand with cross leaning against his arm. In his left hand he is holding a long stemmed white iris looking flower the table is a crown of thorns and a crown of roses. There are similar scars on both figures left cheeks. It is possible that they are intentional but it does look like they could have been cause by an article falling or scraping across the picture.
