Rug

Rug

Navajo Yei Throw Rug. Coarsely handspun warp and weft of wool. Four Yei figures on a field of red. According to Gilbert Maxwell, these particular rugs are typically found in the Lukachukai area. This area produces rugs that are coarsely spun on fields of grey, red or black, while figures themselves are brightly colored as in theis rug.
