Kachina Doll

Kachina Doll

Kachina Doll - This unsigned piece is similar to the work of William Quotskuyva of the Third Mesa, the famous carver who made similar dolls for the California Academy of Science of San Francisco. Carved from cottonwood root, the masked figure has a large terraced tablita headdress, black paint on the chest and a green neck-ruff.
