This a wicker plaque basket. It has a red center area and is decorated with polychrome corn patterns in yellow, orange, black, blue, green and tan. It is in good condition. The colors on the back of the plaque are more vibrant than the front, probably due to sun exposure on the front side. The weft is made with dyed rabbit brush and is woven over a sumac warp. The plaque is edged with yucca.
