This sandstone pestle seems to have been a one handed pestle by its size and is comfortable to hold. Both ends show evidence of use / wear. The edges of both ends have been chipped and aside from these the stone is very smooth. On the areas of wear, where the stone has been worn very smooth, the color of the rock is charcoal or black. 3/5/25: Overall color of the rock is light brown/pinkish. JG
