Luiseno coiled basket with vertical patterns, reminiscent of trees are woven of red juncus rush and black-dyed rush. These patterns are set on a field of sumac. The weft and designs are coiled over a foundation of deergrass. There are a few breaks in the weave which do not detract. Fag ends are tucked the exterior of the piece.
