Hopi Sikyatki Revival Jar
Hopi Sikyatki Revival ceramic jar with cream colored slip background that has been decorated with black and red designs. Shape is of a low shouldered jar with a wide mouth and rounded base. This ceramic style was revived by Nampeyo. The designs on this piece are multi-symbolic representations of parrot, rain, clouds, and stairs of the "kiva" religious shrine. Also Road Runner bird design.
