Part of the Elsie Allen Pomo Basket Collection Perfect symmetry was achieved in the three part design groups. The deep black patterns are triangular arrowhead shapes with a border line. These are woven in the dyed root of the bulrush. The coiling is single rod construction with a willow warp and a sedge grass root weft. The shape is wide and globose that has a nice appeal. Coiling is clockwise when viewed from above and the rim termination is plain.
