In this fine example of Pomo miniaturizing, the single foundation rod is coiled, to the left, with a weft of sedge grass root and designs in dyed bulrush. A fine canoe shape is achieved with a black design geometric extending from the center bottom up the sides. This is accentuated with smaller triangular shapes near the rim in four places.
